Getting started
Install and activate
Join the beta, download Eclipse from your account, install on Windows or macOS, and activate your license.
Download
- Sign in to your Eclipse account on eclipserender.com (join the beta first if you do not have one).
- Open your account area and download the installer for your OS (Windows or macOS).
- Run the installer and complete the setup wizard.
First launch
On first launch, Eclipse may walk you through theme selection, integrations, and if you enable Distributed, a short farm first-run flow. You can revisit these later from Settings and Integrations.
Activate your license
- Open Settings → License (or the license entry in the header status area).
- Sign in with the account that owns your subscription or seat.
- Confirm License Status shows Active before submitting production jobs.
Updates
Eclipse can check for updates from Settings. Install updates on artist machines and on farm nodes so coordinator, render nodes, and the main app stay compatible.
