Your first local render.Choose your workflow.

Submit from the application you already use, then monitor every frame, log, and preview from the Eclipse Local queue.

Before your first submit

Check this workstation.

Local uses this computer’s tools and licenses, with no Shared Folder or Render Node. Open Local capabilities from Eclipse’s header and review the machine check. Save your scene and enable its Eclipse integration before submitting.

Choose your application

The location and controls of the Eclipse submitter change for each application. Choose yours to see the correct workflow.

  1. 1

    Find the integration

In the /out context, press Tab and create Eclipse Submitter (Local).

  2. 2

    Open the local submitter

Connect one or more supported ROPs to the Eclipse Submitter node.

  3. 3

    Prepare the job

Standard uses Houdini; Standalone Renderer exports for a licensed renderer CLI. Check outputs and metadata.

  4. 4

    Submit to Eclipse

Select Submit. The connected ROP frame range is sent to the Eclipse Local queue.

Monitor the Local queue

Check progress, logs, and saved frames. Open the output folder from the card. Relaunch reuses the scene or export: a new standalone range requires those frames to have been exported already.
